November 1st Workshop: Lantern Luminaries

In a new take on paper circuits, girls aged 8 - 12 and their moms (or other adult female mentors) will make interactive, light-up, paper lanterns powered by coin-cell batteries. You will attach LEDs with copper tape and use a small microphone to make your LEDs sound and breath reactive. Take a breath and watch your lantern glow!

Make-HER workshops are open to girls aged 8 - 12 and their mothers (or other adult female mentors). Our #LadyMaker educators have designed content specifically for this age group. Therefore the workshops are not appropriate for those under age eight, please no younger siblings. You may cancel up to 48 hours in advance through this site. Those who do not show without cancellation will be prevented from registering for subsequent Make-HER workshops. Each workshop requires a separate registration. Each registration reserves spots for both you and your daughter.
